Hello,

Just thought I would introduce myself. I used to have a 95 Yamaha YZF 600. I sold it in 99 and have not been on a bike since. I m getting ready to get back at it, just trying to find the right bike. I was going to go for a CBR600rr but changed my mind and am looking for an R6.

I actually found two used models that I'm considering. Which one would you go for?

1 2006 50th Anniversary 15 000 KM. Some small cosmetic mods Super clean from local dealer - $7400

2 2006 R6 - 8500 KM from a far away dealer- $7500.

Both bikes come with a 30 day warranty.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here.

I should mention that I'm located in Canada. These bikes cary a 12.5K List price, and these prices are pretty competitive. At least of the bikes I was able to find.

I like the looks of the anni a little better, but i would prolly always go for the fewer miles. Keep your eyes open on here or take a look at the bike/parts for sale. I'm sure you'll find a better deal.

I do agree you should wait for a raven!!!

Well it is done. Just put a deposit down on a blue 2006 R6. I can't wait to get it.
