My issue is that I ordered a while back an HID kit for my 06 but since it was stolen and never had the chance to put them in, the kit is a low profile ballast kit with H7 6000K bulbs.

The problem I have is that I don't want to put in the kit on my 08 with both 6000K bulbs so I need someone to trade me one of my 6000K bulbs for an 3000K bulb. :D Anyone? Don't kill me guys, I really don't wanna spend over $50 is just a bulb when there might be somone out there wanting to do the same. Thanks. :D

why don't you just not install the other 6k? or just install both 6k..it looks better that way anyways.
My Bike is yellow and I want to run the 3000k on the low beam while keeping the 6000K for night riding (of course adjusting the high beam lower so I don't blind the crap out of people) :D

I think it will look better with the bright yellow during the day. Is a taste thing. Thanks for the input.

:popcorn:I guess you understood wrong. What Im trying to do is keep the 6000K on the high beam and since at night I always ride with all the lights on I will need to adjust the light a little since the HID will blind uncoming traffic. I do want to be seen and heard, it is the idea.

Personally, I find that the 3000K is FANTASTIC for night riding.

Make 'em BOTH 3000K

3000k bulbs have tinted glass in addition to there 3000k light output. Its the finishing touch for a DEEP yellow; which has a side effect of having a slight purple hue, you wouldn't know that because you don't have them. Don't even reply, just shut your little sheep mouth and I'll post pics when the sun starts to set

a hint of purple on 3ks? what the...i wanna see!
notice the lines of purple reflected light picked up by the camera. When riding the bike and turning, this light is OBVIOUS to the rider and even to passers by.

Ok this will be my last post. First off its not the bulb that creates the purple hue. If you knew your ass from your elbow its the film on your headlight that bends the light to create the purple hue. Hence the color band. So in closing i will stand by my sheepish (so you call it) statement and say again that 3k HID bulbs do not look purple. They are yellow!
