What is the hook for on the left passenger foot peg?

its the little thing on both undersides of the pegs. thats what your talkin about right. the kickstand has the same little thing on it too. we were wondering what it was on my friends 04.

luggage hook. Pipe hanger has no hook but a loop instead that you can hook to. Last timeI looked at it and used them like that. I am tired and too lazy to check right now.

yeah, i meant the hook on the left assenger peg. It's not shaped as though you're supposed to use it as a helmet hanger. A luggage mount would make more sense...

That's the one I'm talking about...

Mine is a normal hook, it curves UP, so things hang from it. Yours is a defect.
