Alright im looking to get a new slip-on for my 08 ive only ridden the bike a couple of times so I only have under 50 miles on her. Im gonna be doing a lot of freeway driving and want a louder bike so that if someone doesnt see me maybe they can at least hear me. how soon can I change the slip-on and are there any suggestions on what to get?

its not goin to be hardly any louder. you might as well just drive without the muffler. you will greatly improve sound if you take off the cat converter

i got a hindle slip. not a big sound difference. it was on at 100 miles.

I dont want annoying loud just a little extra to be able to let someone know im there if need be.

How about a full system? worth it or not?

the two brothers with a midpipe is really loud (well atleast it made my ears ring when a kid on a gixxer bounced it off the limiter). I have the megaphone from hotbodies and it's much louder over stock.

If you want sound go for a full system, when you take off your slip on, run your bike, you'll notice there isn't much of a sound change whatsoever
