hey guys,

so the guy who sold my bike to me told me that the Akrapovik was just a slip-on. I go to the mechanic to get some routine maintenance done and the mechanic tells me that the exhaust is a full system and not just a slip on. He was able to eye it. How'd he notice a difference?

Can't find a picture of the akra full exhaust but look at your headers and compare them to the way the stock 00 R6 headers look. T

Most aftermarket headers are a slip fit design.My akra are this way.The headers would also have springs where one tube slips onto another.The stock headers are welded together & are a one piece unit.

What year is your bike? For the 06 and above there will be no cat on it. It's pretty easy to tell if there is an aftermarket exhaust on your bike. Post pics.
