As the title states, looking for some recommendations on how to keep the mice away from my bike this winter. Bike is always left on stands and is covered. I put a ziploc bag over the exhaust and do all the other winterization prep, but I have never thought about preventative measures to keep the mice from making a home inside. Mothballs? Dryer Sheets? Blocking off the air intake? Let me know what you guys think........Love living in the midwest:rolleyes:

Okay so the skunk on a leash idea is not exactly practical.

But periodically pouring gasoline around the parameter is an effective way to run skunks off. It'd likely work for rodents as well.

I actually ended up getting some peppermint oil. Some guys i work with said it works well as the mice hate the smell. They told me to soak some cotton balls and put them in covered plastic cups around the bike, and poke some holes in the top. Hopefully my garage will smell good too lol.

Would sticky traps around the tires be practical?
