How much oil do you put in a 2005 R6? I have heard about 3 quarts but i recently heard 4 qts. Also how much do yall typicaly spend when doing an 0il exchange yourself with new filter?

yea just buy 3 bottles and your good to go. My last oil change cost about $40... 3 bottles of repsol and kn filter.

Yeah luckly I read this, I had put 3 quarts in and wondered why it was over full....my R1 use to take 3.5 quarts, lol. Just drained a little out and was good to go.

I use a mobil 1 filter, and Mobil 1 Racing 4T 10W-40

I let mine drain till nothing will come out... I use 3 even on my R6 and 3.2 on the R1......
Any concern always check the dip stick on the 6 after you are done to make sure its not over full or under....... U can always check as you go also to make sure you have the perfect amount to full and dont have to drain a smidge or add any later on......

NGK plugs work well, you can get them at advanced auto parts . I'm happy with almost anything synthetic. Mobil 1, Rotella T, Etc.
