What's the best way to carry a passenger helmet while the passenger is not riding? Perhaps on the way to pick her up or something...

using the spider web bungee things...strap it down to the back seat.

or, hook it onto the helmet lock under the back seat

I just use the helmet lock thing under the rear seat that Yoda mentioned.

do you just let it hang off the side? Do you have your stock turn signals on there still?

It'll work with the stock signals. There are little tab things under the seat that make it hang a little before the signals.

I don't carry the helmet too often on the side but I haven't noticed any scratches. It keeps the helmet pretty close to the body and there's no too much play.

i would strap it down with something(spider bungee) just to be safe it dont scratch the piant

i gad it hanging off the side and it scratched up the whole sticker on the left side had to replace so now i use a bungee cord thing there talking about and strap it on the back

Yup, take those straps out, let them hang out, put the seat back on and strap the helmet with a bungy net and you are good to go.

I just had an idea. Just give her the helmet as a present so she can keep it home and you don't have to carry it.
I have done the same with my girlfriend.
