so i finally did my first oil change. cost more than i expected, about $42 for 3 quarts of yamalube and yamaha filter. i spilled some oil in the garage during the process. how should i go about cleaning it?

+1 Use kitty litter or oil dry (looks like granola flakes). They make absorbant pads you can use too if you find one. The oil dry works better. Work it in with your boot and then leave it sit for a bit...then a broom will sweep it up. For about $50 an oil change you should be able to buy a gallon of repsol fully sythetic 10w-40 and a Yamaha filter. I haven't priced Yamalube but that seems high.

A can of brake clean. hell even a lil WD-40 and a shop rag will work.

no jokes dude, i'm dead serious.
i've had spills in the past, but i never got around to cleaning them. i made a pretty big mess earlier. and i guess my pops is fed up with it and wanted me to clean it this time.
the kitty liter...i just let it sit for a night, correct?
