This is a pick of the bike before i install the opener.

With the front pulled off...

The board...

The button that i will pull apart to place on the board.

The button pulled apart!

The button glued on to the board with JB weld.

I responded to you in another thread also. But you can just get the unite mount it to that piece. and if thats all your using it for you can just run power and ground straight to battery that way you can use it when your key is out of the ignition.

You can put it in the same place just run a hot wire to the battery or head light hot with a fuse and ground it out! Wallah a cigarette lighter!!!

Thats awesome. Going to install this next weekend. Thanks for the post. One question, where did you get the opener and the button?

Oh yeah, for those that do not want to drill or do not have the know how, there is a product called "flash to pass." It turns your brights switch into a garage door opener, but you do not loose the brights.

No i would use hot glue all i had was jb weld but i am going to go back and seal everything! I just duck taped the battery for easy replacement until i get the hot glue but other than that its a really easy mod!

I wonder if this will make a STICKY!!!
