So I love my bike, but because of its shape there is no good place to put a cup holder. I find myself going to lunch and having no way to bring my drink back to the office with me. Does anyone know of a good solution for a non permanent cup holder that will fit a sportsbike? I want something that I can store in my tail and bring out only when I need to carry a drink for a short distance through the city, and store when not in use. I don't want to cut my plastics or do anything like that. If there is nothing out there then I may start fabbing up something on my own.

The stock r6 license plate holder has a flat surface, 1. go buy a cup holder from walmart and 2. glue it on the flat surface of the license plate holder. 3. enjoy your drink!

What wrong with wanting a way to carry a drink around, I like my sports bike but what if I want a bottle of water or something like that?? there is no where to put it, unless you carry a backpack everywhere with you also what if I want.....starbucks in the mourning but can't because there is no way to get it to work, just ideas just cause I want a drink with me shouldn't mean I have to drive a gold wing around.

This is possible but only with a bottle tho. If you get one of those water bottle holders that attaches to bicycles like the picture below. You can actually attach it the the rear pegs with some tie downs. This is another way of holding water without having a camel back...

Go to a outdoors sport store like Bobs or Cabelas. Get youself one of those water bottle cooler holders and rig it to mount on the side of the passenger peg. When not in use just fold it up and put it in the back.

I have a drink holder in my backpack. My friend is always complaining about not having a cup holder on his bike though. Pretty interesting.

There is a company in Rochester NY that makes a cup holder for bikes... Or any other mounting bracket you may need.....
