Hi, so i am selling my 07 R6. it has 6500 miles, it has been laid down, but only cosmetic damage, now, it has scratched head lights, and little scratches on the tank and the high fairing on the right side. The rear tale piece is black. What do you think is a good asking price? I have attached some pics.. Has current tags, as of march, Recent oil change, never been pushed and never ridden over 90pmh.

Certainly depends on where you live.

Through my craigslist wandering I have seen patterns of sport bikes with between 800 and 2000 miles going for around $1500 less than MSRP. This includes mods, no crashes, clean titles etc. You're probably going to lose at least 3k from what you paid IMO. I'd say $6500 is a realistic starting point, at least in my area. If you are in California or Florida, you can probably find some dumb squids to pay more... or it might be the opposite. Maybe used sport bikes are a lot more abundant around there. Best thing to do is browse craigslist daily for a week or two and see what other bikes are going for.

I am not trying to sell my bike here, so i have no reason to lie. How many times have you gone over 90mph in the canyons?
Anyway, ya, i have posted it on craiglist for 7k, got an offer for 6k...Again, hoping for a squid to bite, i just need the money or else i would never sell my baby. Days are heating up here, so i expect to get more callers, but just wandering what price to expect. Cheers,

I'd say that $6K is what you should expect to get. I've seen immaculate '07s with under 2,000 miles go for $6,500. I got my '06 Raven with 900 miles for $6,500. So, considering the road rash and the miles I'd say $6K is fair.
