Installing Handgrip question

1066 Views 11 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  NVKrawler
Ok, I searched and found the best way to take them off is to use a razor and they come off with no problem. My question is one of my new grips has a smaller opening then the other. Is that normal? Never installed a new set of grips nor taken a set off. Just wanted to make sure before I cut mine off.

Thx for any help.

pry the grip up and spray wd 40 down in there. u dont havta cut them off. the wd40 dissolves the glue
cut that shit off, way faster and you arent going to re use them, or if you are, do what CashMoney says... The bigger one goes on the throttle tube, the little one goes on the left clip on.
Thank you will try to pry them off first. If it takes too long will just cut them off.
i used hairspray when i had to change a grip and it didnt stick so great. i used some gorilla glue then and it aint budging

Got some grip glue for 1.99. The guy at the shop said hairspray will work but spray paint works better.
