putting an intergrated taillight in my 2001 R6. not sure which wires (colors) attach to what. Any help or pics of a similar install would be a great help.

come on people, I can get the blinker to flicker now and than but I cant remem which wires i had conected. Would like to have fixed before i start missing out on rides.

i dont know what it is for the 2001...but the taillight should have 6 wires right? 2 for the taillight, and 2 for each blinker. they are positive and negative.


if you have to, take a small battery and connect it to the wires to find out what is to what. look at your stock blinkers, and mark what wire is what on your bike...

its pretty easy...

A multimeter and marking stuff you took off does wonders.
