is there a "new bike smell"?
i have 277 miles on my new 08 R6S. occasionally when the bike is hot (185-200 degrees F) i smell a slight burning smell. at first i thought it was the shitty car in front of me but then it happened again when i was by myself. it doesn't linger just comes for a minute and leaves. any ideas?

yea yamaha puts sum craap on the bikes(tires) and inside the engine so nutting goes bad while its at the dealer sitting your first couple hundread miles ur burning all that shyt away thats what that smell is
it could be from your exhaust. it takes a few hundred miles to burn out a new pipe.
