The following is from the Jamie James Yamaha Champions Riding School......

Wow! What a great time we had at our June school session. It was a celebrity-filled event beginning with four-time Supersport Champion Tom Kipp as our celebrity instructor. Kent Kunitsugu, Editor of Sport Rider Magazine, attended along with his photographic genius, the one and only Brian J. Nelson. The 2 Xtreem TV crew were there to film Motorcross Champion April Hodges aka "Lil Hodge Podge" as she experienced her first road course on our Yamaha YZF-R6. Top Professional Supercross rider Troy Adams demonstrated that he just naturally has what it takes to ride a motorcycle. After learning the track on our R6, Troy quickly moved up to the YZF-R1. With a bit of coaching and after just a couple of laps behind Scott Russell, Troy roared away and showed us all why we need to keep a close eye on this talented young man.
Students had a chance to soak in a bit of the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum on Monday evening before engaging in a bit of bench racing and barbecue. On Tuesday afternoon, students reviewed on-track video to see how they had improved. Each student had their photo taken with Jamie James, Scott Russell and Tom Kipp as they received the customary JJYCRS certificate.

If that wasn't enough, the June class really "racked up" when they got two T-shirts; one with the JJYCRS logo and another very cool Royal Purple Max-cycle T-shirt. Kent passed out complimentary Pilot gloves and Kevin Foley of Yamaha presented Yamaha logo watches to all our students. This class really took home the GOLD!

Watch for Kent's review of his school experience in an upcoming edition of Sport Rider. You'll be able to catch the 2 Xtreem two-part special on Fox Sports just before the Fox NFL Pregame show this fall.

There are seats open for August 14/15, September 29/30, October 9/10 and November 20/21. You can register online, download the pdf and fax it to us or call us to register by telephone. Don't be left out; get in on the fun any way you can!
