I just got the okay to hire some more help. Thought I'd share the opportunity with you fine folks.

The position available is for Warehouse Technician.
Company: www.amainhobbies.com
Hours: F/T 40+ hours a week
Schedule: Mon-Fri and/or Sun-Thu
Starting pay: 12$/hr
Full benefits after 90 day probation

Summary:
Responsible for daily receiving and restocking of incoming inventory, pulling of customer orders, and warehouse organization. Functions as a key part of a team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Pulls customers orders accurately and in a timely fashion.
2. Receives incoming inventory, unpacks boxes, and correctly checks against purchase orders.
3. Restocks incoming inventory to correct locations in warehouse.
4. Integrates new inventory stock using current organizational procedures.
5. Maneuvers heavy materials with the use of pallet and hand truck as required.
6. Assists shipping area with package procedures as requested.
7. Keeps warehouse neat and organized.
8. Reports any concerns or discrepancies to Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
9. Maintains tools and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
10. Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.
11. Reports any safety issues to Warehouse Supervisor or Manager immediately.
12. Reports injuries to Warehouse Supervisor or Manager within 24 hours of event.
13. Additional duties as requested by Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
Skills and Education/Experience:
1. Basic reading, writing, oral communication and arithmetic skills required.
2. Must be able to correctly identify and match inventory part numbers.
3. Remote Control car/helicopter/airplane knowledge is helpful, but not necessary.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing, company environment.
5. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds required.
6. Must be available for work approximately 40 hours per week.
7. Attention to details a must.
8. Manual Dexterity.
9. Good organizational and planning skills.
10. Prior related experience helpful.
11. Communicate ideas for better organization, better work flow, and suggestions to Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
12. Must be able to walk 90% of work day on hard surface
13. Pushing, pulling order carts
14. Bending, Squating, reaching above head multiple times per day.

Thats awesome! Always wanted to move out to Cali... Making that kinda money in your area liveable?

Depends on your lifestyle, I guess. I don't see why it wouldn't be. I have 15 guys in the warehouse that make roughly that much and they are doing good.

Sure as hell beats minimum wage. :fact

And honestly, for the type of work it's really good pay. Especially with benefits.

WOW!!!!

You guys run Nitro on there or only electric cause it's inside?
Just electric. We don't have proper ventilation for nitro. But an outdoor offroad 1/8th scale track is planned to go in behind our building soon. And it will be a world class track. :fact

Just hired last week. One of the guys started late last week the other starts today.

:secret stole a warehouse manager from another local warehousing company. :D

So why are remote control helecopters and air planes good skills to have? And what kind of business is it that would allow you to have a remote control car track at work? I would never get anything done... and I would have the most badass remote control truck ever!
