It's time again. :YEA Post em up! Get your entry in to win. Entry will be open until the 14th then voting until the end of the month. Let's try to keep the entries about the bikes only. Tell us about your bike and include details on mods, miles, etc. and a story behind it. If you want to post girlie pics, do so in the wives/girlfriends thread and make Maxxx happy :naughty that someone else can also contribute. We will be limiting to 4 pics please, so put up your 4 best shots. We have some members still on dial up :screwy and it takes approx. 2 days for them to download all the pics. :fact Thanks again guys. Let the games begin!

Re: Contest: Ride of the Month (July 08)

Year: 2005

Model: R6

Eng size: 599cc

Pipes: Scorpion Street extreme

Seat: Stock

Wheels: Stock

Accessories: Puig DB, Pazzo Levers, Galfer braided lines front & rear, Galfer pads front & rear, Rim Tape, 520 conversion w/ Vortex sprockets -1+2, RK X-ring chain, Pilot Power 2 ct tires, Vortex sliders, Undertail, Custom fender eliminator, Vortex mirror block-offs, CRG bar end mirror, Clear alternatives integrated tail light, K&N air filter, Speedohealer, HID 6000K kit, Spools,

And the story: Bought the bike in August 2007 W/ 1500 miles on it, and I just turned over 9000. The bike sat through the winter for 4 months. This was the first bike I owned, I grew up on dirtbikes, and learned on my parents Honda Superhawk 996. I had my first crash in April of this year and I learned a lot from it. Luckily neither me or the bike was seriously injured. I love riding and the R6 has been an excellent bike.

Good luck to everyone in the contest!

Mods: gyt-r intake/exhaust cams.. gyt-r velocity stacks.. gyt-r drop in race filter.. powercommander psIII.. vortex 15/49 520 conversion.. vortex clipons.. crg shortie levers(street) msr easy pull clutch lever, and brembo handbrake(stunt).. hotbodies undertail.. pit tek double bubble.. Gpr steering damper.. flushmount front blinkers.. braking wave rotors f/b.. hh brake pads rear.. re-valved front forks, from the blue R6v (i wanted gold.) sato rearsets. D.I.D professional chain. might be forgetting a few things but i am drawing a blank at the moment.

story: bought the bike new, modded immediately, it was raven initially.... did a few trackdays on it, and some street stunting on this bike, but after a great day of riding, my friend was carless and clipped me, sending me end over end on the freeway. i then went on the buildup process, and decided to make a urban superbike. this bike does still see track work, but a ton of wheelies, etc. also. this is a useable everyday bike, it is not a trailer queen, it is not a show queen, nor is it a kickstand orinament. this bike DOES WORK!

here she was before she died..... she lived as a raven first time around.

Re: Contest: Ride of the Month (July 08)

This might be a bit redundant since I just stuck these pix in the "show off ur bike" thread. But I wanted to get some opinions and some feedback without throwing too much chatter in to an all pix thread.

So... The tank, the rear hugger and my helmet are going to be done in about a week. She is a work in progress.

Re: Contest: Ride of the Month (July 08)

Once again, another great group of bikes to decide on. Thanks to everyone for entering.

Student - You got my vote. By far the best looking R6 I've ever seen. The White/black scheme is awesome and the white rims really bring it all together. Great decal choices and placement.

x-Raven - Awesome paint job. The person that did that really brought the flames to life.

it is really hard now to win ride of the month with a 99-05 bike maybe we should have an older ride of the month and the newer shape?

Re: Contest: Ride of the Month (July 08)

Students bike owns the contest this month. I am the least stunting person out there, but that bikes looks sick. I have seen the videos of him throwing that thing around like a mini bike. Awesome bike with a rider that is just as capable. Hands down will win.
