Hey, after I bought the bike, the seller said the transmission has a cog that will wear out if I don't try to match the rpm when shifting. Anyone know what he was talking about? The bike shifts perfectly without doing that, and it sounds absurd, but figure you guys would be the experts...

just do a search for the "2nd gear problem" Try to keep the clutchless power shifts into 2nd at a minimum and you'll never have a problem.
