I have a 2002 r6 and I jetted my carbs about 5 months ago. Actually, it's pretty difficult compared to other minor bolt on's. If you are mechanically inclinced than shouldn't be that hard but if you're not much of a mechanic I would suggest you take it to someone who knows what they're doing. After installing the jets on your carb, you will also need to synchronize your carbs then retun them, since they won't be in n'sync off the bat. You will need some long allen wrenches, but as far as I can remember, basic tools should do the trick.
