To all,
I joined this forum because I'm at a cross roads in my life.
The time has come to choose.
I have found a deal on a flipped 04 R-6. It just needs a new upper, and some small stuff all for $3,400. Not to mention that it has only 1k miles. No brainer right?
I have a 98 R-1, Dyno 143 HP, with out taking in account the ram air . I've had it since we cracked the crate. ( paid off ) Dumped seriouse$$ into it.
On the track everyone says I've got good cornerspeed, and would probally rock a 600. The thought of starting all over again and only getting back around 100hp kills me. Wife says one bike. So the question is- is it worth it. does a modern six s' handling and weight make it worth the trade off? Would apprecaite thought s of the collective. sorry for the length of the post. :confused
