Well I changed my plugs on Saturday which went smoothly, except that I stupidly neglected to reconnect my crankcase breather hose which caused it to kink and be blocked when I put the tank down. While riding I heard a loud noise like the air brakes on a big-rig, and now there is an oil leak on the right side of my engine.

I cleaned it all off and will apply some spray-on baby powder to pinpoint the leak, but in the meantime does anyone know what the first seal or o-ring would be to let go due to build-up of pressure from a kinked crankcase breather hose?

No idea, but that could be a real pain in the ass to fix. I wish you luck, man... That sucks.

If you are talking about the rubber 1/2 circle under the valve cover, that's just part of the valve cover gasket. If it isn't torn, just loosen the valve cover and put it back in place.
