Hey all... So I ride my bike back and forth to work as often as possible. However, I find myself rolling in the cage on days I know I have to take the laptop to work. I have a Backpack bag (Dell) but it's HUGE.

Who carries a laptop while going to/from work on the 6? Backpack? Any suggestions on a good, small laptop backpack? I have a Dell D630... so It's not small, but not one of those large screen laptops either.

I'm looking at some on EBAY but would rather hear from you guys and gals what works and what doesnt.

I am also pondering this question. I want to take my laptop to class and of course I take my bike to school because parking is easier but I want something to protect my investment so to speak. +1 for suggestions. Thanks for posing this questions OP! :stupic

I got a samsonite bag...Dont know what number or w/e it is bro sorrys :dunce: but it's a great backpack with pads in the shoulders and on the back and it snaps down at my waist too so it stays STUCK to my back, no looseness or floppiness, if i were you i'd look for one like that, be careful with tank bags with magnets...they WILL affect your PC.

Look for one with
Pads on the back, and shoulder straps
A waist strap/clip to secure it down to you so it doesn't flop around
A place for your celly
A place for that oh so necessary MP3 player
A place for a sammich your woman made :hammer:

Hope this helps dood!

It does help. I have looked at those items that you touched on with oakley backpacks. They are nice but sometimes to big and on the expensive side. Probably worth it though.
Get what ya pay for homie :fact:

I actually just got a laptop bag recently. I commute about 30 miles one way 4 days a week. I went with the "Ogio - No Drag" laptop bag. I love this thing. It has as much space as you could ask for in a riding laptop bag. It has slots on each side(inside) for different shoes, in case you don't want to wear what you rode in. Space for a hydration pack if you would like, room for your IPod, or whatever. There is more, but I won't list everything. I was a little pricey, but, in my opinion, it is worth every penny. Just make sure that you're ok with looking like a turtle, because it looks like you have a shell on your back.

I actually have the same one the r6rammy is using, but I found that I was getting quite a bit of drag with it. If you're interested in that bag, let me know, and we can figure something out. The only difference between my bag and the one in his link is that mine is grey everywhere that one is red.

Below is a link to the page on Ogio's website.

Good Luck finding what you are looking for!

Ogio Bags Rock! Defienetly check those out. The No Drag is pretty sweet, but i rock the Politan because it was a little cheaper and i perfered it to the No Drag. Bag holds up great, fits very well on top of my jacket, doesn't shift around when i ride, and has a good amount of protection for all the gear i have to take when i go into work.

AWESOME. Hahah Great info too. The strap that comes around the front sounds essential. I have a real small backpack that I use on occasion when I dont need my laptop and just pack odds and ends.... It's always fun trying to put it on over an armored Joe Rocket jacket. LOL. Sometimes I just put it on the jacket... and then put the jacket on.

Try Chrome citizen. Just ordered myself the Metropolitan. Trust me, i searched everywhere and read all the reviews and this is the best bike/motorcycle bag, ever due to their design.

Only minus is they don't like poor people - $100 and up.

but if you're a rich hobo, this will last forever. Made of some tough stuff.
