I dont know if this will bw the right place to post but here it goes. well i went like 4 months ago and i just fix my my bike and everything is good. am riding again. the only little problem that i have is that when i lean to the left side, which is the side i dropped the bike, i feel that the steering is very lose and the bike feels like its going down again. well i think that maybe is all in my head. however i what to make sure that its just that. so do i have to re aling the tires like in a car or is there something wrong with the steering. now when i lean to the right averything seems to be good and the steering doesnt move as much. Well i wanted to see if someone with some experience driving can probably come and ride my bike and see how they feel it or to see if there is something wrong. i will go to someone in the area if someone experienced offers to help me out.

thank you

You don't mention where you are in your post. You also didn't mention how hard you went down. Did you check your triples, forks, wheel alignment, you know the simple stuff to make sure everything is straight?

It wasnt that hard the only thing that was messed up was the farings and the crank case cover. i dont think that there is anything to worry about. but if i take it to the dealer then they are going to say that it is messep and its going to be an eye of my face to fix. the forks look fine and so does anything else but again that is just my opinion. thats why i wanted someone else to see the damage and ride it. maybe its all just in my head. because if it was that bike i think it should be the same way when i lean to either side. Dont you agree. i am in Santa Ana CA (SoCal) if anyone wants to spare some of their time to check it out plus it is a great oportunity to find some people to ride with.

thank

How fast were you going with your bike when you droped it? Did it hit any curb or a pole after you went down.

I went down like that 3 times last season going faster than 100 km/h (~70mph ???) and nothing serious happened to my bike. Some of the fairing got scraped and cracked, but that is about it. However every crash is unique.

If you wont find anyone in you neighborhood willing/able to help, you can probably sign up for a track day with your bike. You can ride in the slowest group, feel the bike and ask the instructor (if they have anyone; usually they do) or some of the other bikers. I'm sure they help you solve these problems, and you make some great new friends ;). Just get there well in time, so you can ask people before the riding-session/training starts.

i agree every drop is different i was doing a low speed left turn and hit this patch of leaves and i panicked and tried to apply the brakes but the but just suddenly dropped, my forked got bent and the stoppie tab on the lower tree clamp broke so weird, but ya i think it might be psychological as well, fear of hitting the corners with more lean.. just ride more carefully and when u feel better just lean more

thats all i can say
