So i crashed my bike a few weeks ago and theres some substantial damage to the bike and me :p

Ive got handlebars coming cause the left one fully snapped so i was just wondering if thats gonna be a massive job. My dad and i are pretty handy he used to be a car mechanic. Has anyone done this before and could tell me how hard it is?

Cheers :)

I've never replaced one per se, but removing the stocker is cake. Just loosen the pinch bolt and the one to the triple tree and its free to slide off the fork. The hardest part is removing the grip to pull the clutch lever bracket off. Just stick a flat screw driver between the rubber, spray in some hair spray for lube, then work it around a bit and it should slide off. Also, its called a clip-on, btw.

And you'll save yourself some trouble getting the top triple back on if you un-weight the front end. A front stand is preferred, but any ghetto way will make it easier to line up.
