Hey Ya'll I recently had to replace the tires on my R6 and was fed up with the ugly bronze rims that came on my 2008. I didn't want to go through all the work of having the bearings pressed etc just to have them powder coated. Instead I opted to buy two cans of paint stripper and two cans of gloss clear. I spent almost the whole day with the stripper. My hands were burning like hell but it was so worth it. Sprayed on the clear the next day after a good wash and let it cure for 24 hours before I had the tires mounted. Let me know what Ya'll think, figured it might inspire someone...

Can you take some closer pics of the rims and the bike? Looks pretty good dude

Here are some close ups! Just make sure you have a few wire brushes, scotch brite pads and fine steel wool for when you're stripping the wheels.
