I would loctite the spools, I did mine. I thing you run a high risk of them vibrating loose if you don't.

got my t-rex rear stand and t-rex spool/sliders in last week:YEA when installing the spools do i need to use blue locktite or not? btw, those of you who have the t-rex stand and spools how do you like em?

Red loctite those things. I have the t-rex stands and just did a tire change. I had to saw part of it where the spool sits in order to line the axel up to reinstall. Other than that they are fine.
Love trex stands. THey are great.
