so i was using sport rider.com's sugjested settings and i lost count of the clicks on the rebound damper screw so i cosulted the manual and i turned the all the way clockwise in direction "A" it seemed to go a little far didnt stop turning until the spring preload bolt started turning when i started backing off the dampner screw didnt hear clicks until about almost half a turn so my question is was i right to keep turnig clockwise until screw stopped

Yes but you dont need to put a whole lot of torque on these adjusters, its suspension not like tightening lugs on a car, you should feel resistance, as long as the clickers are clicking youre ok, ive never turned rebound screw down enough to have preload ajdjuster move though.

You should always turn the rebound or compression adjuster screws in COUNTERCLOCKWISE direction before you count the clicks. They need to be backed out all the way and then count the clicks as you turn it back in (clockwise) or you setting will not be accurate.
