So...I lowsided for my first time yesterday going about 25mph on some twisties in Idaho...roads are still sandy as shit there.

The bike sustained little damage cause it practically landed on me but I did have a complete Shogun Frame Slider kit installed and it held up nicely. The major damage was to the right side of the bike and no the bike didn't flip or do anything crazy, it just took a hard hit to the right side. I'm hoping that it's all cosmetic damage.

My question is, what should I look for when inspecting the bike?

I'm mostly concerned with the frame and the front wheel...

Any tips or tall-tall signs of damage would be greatly appreciated.

Low-side at about 25 will probably just cause cosmetic damage. But if it's been laid down, look for any fluid spillage and check the levels.

Other than that, most bikes are pretty reziliant with minor crashes. The front fork may be a bit skewed at worse. Even then you can simply clamp the front wheel between your legs and torque the clipons back into alignment...kinda like with your bmx bike back in the day.
