Hey all,

I need some help figuring this one out.

I just bought a 2005 R6 and the lower fairings DONT LINE UP AT THE FRONT, but they line up fine at the rear.

I imagine is because I have different year fairings in there, can anyone point me in the right direction as to which one is the 05 fairing (correct one)? The one that sticks out more, or less?

That's not the problem.. the rear part is lining up perfectly, and the tabs are 100% fastened....

the fairings are definately different size..

Sounds like someone replaced a fairing with an Egay fairing to hide some damage

Oh I'm sure.. this bike has been down a few times, I have no problem with that.. I'm just trying to figure out which fairing is the correct OEM size so that I can buy a matching one for the other side.

You could try to modify the larger fairing to fit flush...

otherwise you'll have to get a new one (or pair) to get em flush

Ok, how about I change the question to this:

Can anybody help me by measuring their lower fairing from the bottom, measuring all the way from the tip (near front tire) to the back (near pegs)?

Thank you!

I'd like to get just 1 side to fix this problem, but I need to know which side is the OEM size.
