You have a high mount with the serpent header? I was told you couldnt use the high mount because the slipon tube wouldnt connect up correctly. Also that the bend in the slipon would negate some of the HP gain of the header.

Programmer? Are you talking about a power commander? If so, you can get them cheaper than that. Cost on the header sounds about right. You might wanna double check on the slipon with that header though. I was told I would have to have costom plumbing from the header to the can because Micron didnt make that connection. I ended up getting the high mount with my stiock header and a power commander 3. Runs well and sounds real good. Im thinking about getting it dyno'd and having a custom tuned map for the PC3.

Let me know what you find out. Could be that Ive been misinformed by the shop here.

I would say no but with a caveat. Micron, like most manufacturers, tunes their systems. If you mix and match parts from different mfr's your most likely not gonna get the best performance for the system. The loss / gain may be negligible for basic street riding but for any kinda perofrmance riding I would be concerned.
