Did dyi project over the weekend on newly acquired R6 . Coming from riding cbr 10yrs ago , first thing I noticed was how agreessive my body position is and a bit awkward how narrow the handle bars are .

I didn't want to buy aftermarket clip on yet . I need to replace 5 years old original tires first .

I noticed there was decent gap between triple clamp and clip-on and was not able to adjust Due to designed . But I was able to free up parts and was able to grind off about 1/4 inch and still able to have clip on installed in factory setting ( 1 bolt from side , 1 bolt from TC )

I was surprised how few mm of handle bar position make day and night difference. I may have to change out the clip on if wanted to change the angle , but for now it was definitely worth of bit of time invested
