03 R6 comes with the stuff you need, the L bracket and the bolts are already in the tail piece when you buy the bike.....all you have to do it take them out and rebuild it...my bro showed me how.

what is a good site to get aftermarket parts for the 03 r6

I was thinking about gettting some flush mounts ( would be a good idea considering i have not turn signals :roll:

I dont remember where I saw it but I remember seeing a kit that converts your brake lights into turn singal as well....if you can find them on a site please post it. :jump

I’ve seen the tail light modulator at this motorcycle store in SF, CA. It was like $35. I think I’m planning to get one myself since I have an under tail that changed the stock tail lights on my 00. When I step on the brakes, only the right side lights up (I hope its not faulty wiring). If I stop by the store I’ll find out who makes this modulator and post it up.

Also I’m looking for flush mount turn signals. Does anyone know where I can get them for under $20? Or LED turn signals and LED light bulbs?

Hello all,
I have a '03 R6 in Brunei (someone will impress me if they know where
that is) will be going to Houston end of the month and am looking at
a bit of shopping.

Currently on the list are
-bike stands (redline)
-air filter (was thinking of BMC, is there a big diff with K&N??)
-exhaust can (Yoshimura, anyone can tell me the diff between rs3/tri-oval)
-oil filter (prob just K&N)

If anyone can recommend me better products, I'd much appreciate it!!!

Hot damn!!! Yayo, you truly impress. The only good thing bout being in Brunei has to be that there is not enforced speed limit sure we got signs and shit but nobody gives a rat's ass.

so any comments on the gear I intend to buy?
I am pretty new with bikes so I don't know bout mods.

I went to the store and found "the integrator kit" made by M.D. Wright. This is the wiring that you will need to turn your tail lights into turn signals. That’s if anyone is still interested.

I have seen pictures of the front turn signals installed inside the corners of the headlights. That has to be the trickest mod i have seen on the R6
Not sure how legal that is. I guess it automatically turns off the the head light on the respective side in order for the amber bulb to reflect effectively. REALLY COOL....i would love to see in person

as far as the light goes, get a clear alternatives. I ordered one and it works great. Also, HIDs are a must. Decals can look nice, but dont go overboard. As for places to find good parts, just google it.
