Decided to get a little crafty, and make a new bracket for the rear blinkers, license plate, and license plate light. Looks a ton better. Some day ill buy a real kit. Not bad for 1 hour, and free. lol

For some odd reason, my phone turns the bike orange, but its Candy Red.

Its just black backstrap. I use it alot at work, when making custom brackets for stereo installs, or Sirius and XM mounts. Basically, I took 2 pieces and put one on top, and one on bottom of the blinkers, and spaced them just far enough apart to fit the license plate. With those 2 pieces going side to side, I just bolted on 2 more about 5 inchs long going front to back, and bolted those to the stock 4 bolts in the tail. Then using the stock metal part of the license holder, I made 2 small L brackets, and attacked the license bracket to only the 2 stock bolts closest the back. Then made new tabs for the license plate light, and hooked it up to the pieces of strap thats holding everything else in place.

Kinda hard to tell in the pic, but the license plate light is directly centered between the stock 4 Bolts in the tail. Everthing else is back further under the tail.

Oh, I also didnt cut a single wire. I just made a couple well placed cuts on the stock piece I was getting rid of, and pulled the harness out of it, To where my stock blinkers, and license plate light were just dangling there. All of my good electrical tools are at work. So I didnt want to have to redo any wiring.

Im thinking about extending the wiring, and making the brackets about 6 inchs longer, so the blinkers are more inline with the rear foot pegs. That would also put the license plate above the rear tire guard.

Also today, my Puig double bubble black screen is supposed to be here. :D
