Nope. Just change the oil at 600 miles and you're good to go.
You might want to clean the filter also, while you're at it.

I meant clean the air filter. Change the oil filter every time you change the oil.

LOL i have 2000miles on my bike and yet to clean the air filter. The SIX killed about thousands of bugs.

Wash it with soap and water, then squeeze in some filter oil. Get the spray kind since the basket doesn't come off.

filter oil? never heard of that one...are there just made for oil filters or any oil (engine oil) will do. sorry for the nu-b question. and are we talking about detergent soap here to wash them or it doesn't matter...thanks!

I use dishwashing liquid.
There is a certain kind of oil called filter oil. K&N is the best, but Klotz and several other people make it also. Check with your local motorcycle shop, they'll have some.
