I put this set on last night, it fits really good except for a few minor parts that I messed up... no biggie, it's a track bike and I will wreck it.

Gonna paint this week I hope.

Ha um ok? You are entittled to your own opinion.

How many sets of race bodywork have you tried?

These cost $341 a set, and fit damn near as good as sharkskinz.... how do I know this? Because I have had 3 sets of sharkskinz, and they cost $800 and up depending on the bike.

-Hotbodies fit like absolute shit
-Sharkskinz are a great product, but stupid expensive
-the pit-ek shit i have seen... is just that, shit.
-attack and armour bodies make pretty good stuff but still retail at $600ish and up.

either way to each their own. This bodywork fits awesome for the price.

And I am way faster than you anyway :D

whoa buddy, way to take things harshly, its the internet, simmer down tough guy.

local guy to me makes a replica shark skinz, 450 for a set. they fit like a dream and crash tested. i completely agree with you in the above statements about other body work, they do suck. though, all the stuff i've seen first hand from e-racing completely exploded on impact and are a one time use. if they actually lasted more than once it would be worth it. my local guys are just like sharks when they go down they can be easily used again.

just last monday my buddy tumbled his bike out of turn 6 at infineon raceway, tweaked the front end, destroyed his subframe and fairing stay, needs new fork,s radiator and tripple tree, oh and guess what, his fairing's from our local guy are FINE. no snapping, cracking, exploding, etc. they held up great.

if you want some more info about my local guy go ahead and PM me, you can't be 450 a set for shark skin quality. im not even kidding, i couldn't tell the difference between the two. i'd give you a company name, but he doesn't have one yet :)

Looks good - fitting is a PITA, and mine isn't 100% perfect but is just fine for the track.

More important things than whether track plastics fit as well as OEM plastics.

Enjoy!

Indeed

if you're local we can find this out :)
That comment was my attempt at humor of no big deal ;)

With the e-racings, i haven't seen any exploded sets, but here are some pics of mine after wrecks (I wreck a lot :sing)

This is after three wrecks, and they are still in use after some bondo today, and look great.

This is after two lay downs on the same side

here is after tucking the front at Barber on the back stretch and 90ish, barrelrolled 2 1/2 times

I might fly out to laguna for a trackday in september... im in Alabama

man

i haven't seen e-racing fairing's work that well yet. those look pretty good im impressed.
the left side lower looks way off there man, did u just miss drill it?

the E racing fairings are ok, they seem to be pretty hit or miss.
Sharkskinz have really gone down hill, especially for how much they cost.

im a big fan of catalyst and attack fairings.
i just realized that i bought your old set at the wera board. lol! no wonder your bike and background looks familiar.

I did screw up just a little bit on drilling for the frame sliders. I was off a hair and had to "widen" the hole that makes it fit a hair wierd, but like I said. I don't mind, it is a trackbike and it will look sick once I paint it!

LOL, haha that's pretty funny. Yeah it does look familier. you should get yours in a few days!

I taped the dzus in their respective holes
on the 9th. did you find out what brand it is? it doesn't look hotbodies.

To be honest I didn't even look inside the fairings to see, The tail almost has to be hotbodies, but I have no idea for the rest of it??

let me know what kind they are when you get them haha

Jennings is a very fun track. I try to hit it up several times each year.
ok. whats the status on your e-racings? are they resuming on production again?

It's about 6 hours from me, and towing my big enclosed trailer... it costs me about $450 in gas... so I do Jennings not soo often

They are working on new molds, to make the stuff fit even better. They will have all the new stuff in stock in about 3 months.
hot

Yah I have been to Jennings, but only three times. I dont think Im going to take my new bike there though.

Me and my brother are talking of going in together and buying a cheap track bike. Something reliable that we can learn on.

Im running mid 1:30's. Love that place, but I probably wont see the track until next year.
