Hey guys, just changed the plugs in my bike. I did this once before. That was before I sold it to the guy I just bought it from and had no issues then.

I raised the tank, bungee'd it to the tail. Took off the air box, cleaned the BMC filter, changed the plugs and reinstalled everything.

Got it all back together, turned the key and nothing. No power to gauge, no fuel injector buzz nothing. I only unpugged 1 coil, no other electrical connectors.

Any ideas? Hopefully battery didn't take a shit....

No, I rotated the tank backwards so it was held up in the air by a bungee cord.

The first time I did this it was empty, this time I did it while the tank had gas in it and it was dripping out the vent line while I changed the plugs.

Do our bikes have a power killer or something for if the bike tips over or if fuel spills?

Alright, so since I always assume the worst, ripped it all back apart to check all the connections and fuses and put it all back together with still no luck.

I brought the battery to work and it was at only 6v. Put it on our 4 hour charger for 2.5 hours and it only came up to 7.7v.

Brought a new one home and we are good to go... Stupid me.

Didn't expect it to be so simple since it worked before I started the plugs and then did not when I was finished. Battery only made it two years
