Hey everyone, I'm Justin. I currently go to school at Oklahoma State in Stillwater. Picked up a 2005 R6 from a classmate this week that he needed gone before he graduated this weekend. Needs some TLC for sure, but it seems to be all cosmetic. Was never wrecked, but dropped hard and laid over from the original owner. This is my first bike (yes I know a 600cc sport bike is not a good leaner bike yadda yadda yadda... So please don't go there  )

What I'm looking at replacing is the throttle twist (seems bent, doesn't twist back closed quickly) , windscreen, Fairing Stay, right side foot peg, headlight housing, woodcraft frame sliders, mirrors, and maybe cam chain tensioner. I got this bike for a steal, so I don't mind that its a little beat up and needs some TLC. I come from the street/drag racing scene so I always like project.

The plan is start replacing things this summer while learning to ride. Plastics are scratched up pretty good, but there's no real cracks or chunks missing. Little bit of plastic welding and a slick paint job will come after I've gotten more comfortable riding it. Will probably keep it for a while, but since I got it for so cheap, I can easily turn a profit on it even after all the work/parts.

Anyways, here's some pics. (Don't mind the GF or the roommate looking stupid.
