Its eating me up knowing that im about to hit 7k miles on the ODO for my 08
just curious how many miles will our bikes "live" for provided the proper maintenance? and how many miles are on your ODO?

I've got 22k on my 03 (bought with 300 on the odo at the end of 2006) and it runs like a top...

there have been plenty of people with tons of miles, your bike is just barely broken in. Just keep up the maintenance and dont beat it to shit and she'll last just as long as you want. I'm aimin to hit 100k on mine

no. while im sure motorcycles can make it to 100,000 miles, they just dont too often. there are a lot of cars that hit 100k miles.

requires a wee bit more of dexterity and focus to get high mileage on a bike.
You can practically sleep behind the wheel of a cage and get 100k

Bought my 04 in mid july with 5,800 miles and now I'm at almost 8k because the motor blew in my car so I have been riding my bike EVERYWHERE for about a month now.
