We get a lot of calls and emails asking the difference, with the new TTX GP Shocks... so we figured we would post up this video.

Kinda interesting if you are interested in workings of the shocks.

that one switch makes it appear that the ttx mkii can be easily upgraded with the gp valve. is this the case?

They can be.

But, it requires numerous other parts to "retro" fit those new valves.

The cost for all those parts is nearly 1/2 the price of the shock.

You would be much better off just selling the Original shock and purchasing a New TTX GP... and come out spending less money....... AND Have a Brand New Shock.

Cool. Thanks for posting. I love the technical info in our sport. I wish they had gotten more in-depth with the explanation.

Love my TTX GP from Hard Racing,, Being able to make comp and reb adjustments by hand is great! Pull into hot pit,, reach down for a couple clicks and back on track..

Your Photos are bike porn.

No matter how much we see these shocks everyday, they just look soo good on the bike.
