Hi guys, my multimeter reads ohms in 200, 2k, 20k and etc.
I just measured my pick up coil resistance on the 2 setting and it measures .301
I don't know what the pick up coil is supposed to be at. Can anyone tell me if my pickup coil is bad?

.301 is under 1k. 1k = 1000 ohms.

So I had it set on the 2k setting. Measured .301.
Is that within range?
What does the manual say you should be reading? Never needed to measure mine.

Also, what year was your bike?

Quote from my manual:

99' primary resistence = .238 to .322 ohms @ 20 deg celsius (68f)
2000-on primary resistance = .204 to .276 ohms @ 20 deg celsius (69f)

99' secondary = 8.16 to 11.04k-ohms
2000-on secondary = 8.5 to 11.5k-ohms
