is it bad that i put 10w40 oil in my motorcycle and not 10w30?

because...er..my..friend... did that... to his.. r6...

am i going to get :hump 'ed?

If it gets warm-ish where you live this time of year, you shouldn't have a problem.

That's fine. I wouldnt run a 30 weight anyways.

I run 10w-40 in the early spring and in late fall, and 15w-50 the rest of the time.

10-40 is no prolem at all, now if it had been 80-90........
