Hi, I have just done an oil change on my 2002 R6. I checked what spec oil I should use in the manual and I had a new bottle of car motor oil in the garage which was the same spec so I put that in. I then read that car oil had additives that were not suitable for bikes so I bought the proper stuff and changed it again. The bike did about 30 miles with the car oil in and since then I can only get 1st or 2nd gear. Do i just need to give it time or could I have knackered my bike?? Please help cos I've just put some new supercorsas on and need to get out on the road!! Thanks.

you probably want to change your oil before your 3k mark...

the powdered nesquick might absorb more of the additives vs the syrup kind
