What do you do with the cables that are attached to the ex-up
valve when you remove your exhaustand is it important???
I left mine dangling for a couple weeks til i figured out how to remove the cables...You dont have to remove them, but it looks much cleaner without them hanging
It takes about 10 mins to remove them, you need to unbolt the right side rear set which is like 2 or 3 bolts, it only needs to be removed so you push it outa the way to get a wrench in there to remove 1 bolt...
After that there is a small black box with a rubber cover over it kinda behind the rear shock, that is being held down by 2 small 8, or 10mm nuts, remove those and pull the exup motor out and remove the rubber cover, and you will see 2 cables which need to be slid out, if you uplug the electrical connectors outa exup box make sure you plug the wire back in befor bolting it back up or else you will get a check engine light
after you slide them out reverse the steps and bolt the exup motor back in and be amazed how much cleaner it looks
