Ok, so i got this motorcycle about a month ago. i bought it used from a guy that didnt know what to do what so ever.. anyways he got installed a IXIL undertail exhaust on the bike which actually sounds great but it looks a little too bulky to me. well i wanna get rid of the left side muffler and make it a single high mount. now i wanted to know if i should just leave it as is? (which i don't want) take it to a shop so they can build a new pipe to change it to a single or just take it of and sell it and buy a new one.

Another thing, if i leave a single high mount i would like to paint the pipe black so it doesn't stand out so much.

here are some picks so yall could take a look at the exhaust

Yes, good lord get rid of that, maybe you can get away with just buying a new slip on and fitting it up, I don't know if that is a full exhaust or just a slip on.

with all the fabrication and stuff your talking about, it will be easier and cheaper (or atleast near the same cost) to sell your current one and buy a high mount. plus turning that one to a single will look funky because of the angle its at.

yeah i know.. i want to go wit a GP style slip on but on my 05 it might be too loud n the cops around here are a pain in the a**..

i was actually looking around and i found this pic of a bike wit a high mount which is what i would do if i cant afford a new slip on..

And no this is not my bike. my bike is a black beat up one..(FOR NOW)

The pipe on my bike is no longer sold in the U.S. It was a Devil SB-2 and I cut it down 6 inches. Your pipe new is 1200 bucks so I would sell it and buy a new slip on.
