Just bought: 2015 R6 - all stock

Trackday #1: November 1, 2020: Thunderhill Raceway (West), Willows, Ca. Had a blast and realized the power of this bike. Takes effort to ride in the upper RPMs. Running Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II - great feel with these tires. No complaints so far. Although, I am seeing on the rear tire the definite line of separation between the different compounds especially at the tire edge to the next compound. Is this normal for this tire to see a line that separates the compounds?

Yes, it's normal and can be a bit unsettling because it develops a ridge that you fall off of when leaning from the hard compound to the softer side compound.
