I have a 2003 R6 with a Micron High Mount Slip On, has anyone out there Polished Out or Chromed the mid pipe? Right now it's just a bare metal look. A local shop told me that it could not be plated because it is stainless steel but I swear I've seen other Stainless chrome plated before. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the advice. I started Polishing it out and am happy with the intial results. There's still a long ways to go.
