I have an 07 r6 and it has the stock 525 chain with a -1 sprocket in the front. I was thinking of getting a 520 conversion with -1 in front and +2 in the rear. Is it worth me upgrading to a 520 for weight of the rotating mass of will it not make to much of a difference and i could get away with just a new rear sprocket? there is a new chain and the front sprocket was done by the previous owner. Thanks

u should change sprockets and chains at the same time. you can get a good kit off of motomummy for around $175 - $210. so why not go for the 520 when you'll prolly need a new chain anyway with the bigger sprocket prolly wont be big enough.
