I have a brand new TruGel battery for an 82 Yamaha XV920R just sitting in my garage. It's a bit larger than the TruGel currently in my 6. I think it's MG20L or something like that.

Regardless its a bigger more powerful battery for turning over a v-twin 920... is there any reason why I shouldn't use this battery? Assuming I can make it fit...

I can't think of any reason... but maybe one of you knows something I don't

More weight?

Otherwise, it's not going to explode or anything..

Didn't realize just how small the 6 battery was.. I can fit the bigger battery but it'll take some work. I don't have anything wrong with my current battery so no sense in fixing something that isn't broke. When/If it does go out I'll put the bigger one in.
