Does anyone know if you take off all the preload on rear shock spring would you need to adjust the damper. Or any other parts of the suspension rear and front.

Yes I'm still wanting to do this. The bike is fine with the seat height but I have a tear in my knee and it's my only vehicle now. So it would be good to be more flat footed while stopped. Probley repair my knee in December. Thanks

GEEEZUSSSSS...... I dont think there is anything you can do with an R6 to make it comfortable.

However, if you take ALL the preload out, Im pretty sure the shock will be way too underdamped.. Like bottom out damage underdamped.

What i would recommend though better, yet not still ideal.... Install some adjustable dog bones to lower the rear. It'll ruin the geometry and slow the steering but on the street it wont matter.

Replace with stock bones in the spring.
